OPEN CALL FOR TOGYG’S FIRST FILM SCREENING

TOGYG are inviting submissions of digital video art for the first TOGYG Film Screening. The films will be shown in a new cinema space at The Old Goodsyard, Bangor on the 20^th and 21^st of September, as part of TOGYG’s involvement with the Helfa Gelf Art Trail.

The deadline for submissions will be Saturday 6th September.  Please send all films on disk or USB stick, maximum file size 1.5 GB (avi, Mpeg, mp4) There is a small admin fee of £4 per artist, and a maximum of 3 films can be submitted. The programme will be curated by TOGYG.

TOGYG Print Studio Bangor are inviting submissions, in the meduim of printmaking, for exhibition at The Old Goodsyard, Bangor, as part of TOGYG’s involvement with Helfa Gelf Art Trail. The exhibition will open at TOGYG’s Open Day on the 20^th September, and will be curated by TOGYG’s resident artists. Drop off day for submission will be Saturday 6^th September 10 – 4. ( postal submissions will also be accepted, for more information, contact TOGYG) There will be an admin cost of £4 per artist, and a maximum of 3 works submitted. Please label each work on the back with name,date,  medium and sale price.

Calling all artists!!!!

We would like to invite you to take part in our fundraising event: TOGYG ArtCard,  in September 2013.
We are asking a wide range of artists to donate a postcard, made by them, to a silent auction to help raise funds for developing a new community print centre at The Old Goods Yard.
We would love to have you as a contributor.

We are asking you to donate an unframed, A5 (210x 148mm/8.3 x 5.8 inches) size postcard work
3d works are also very welcome.

Exhibits need to be received by Monday 2nd September2013 and sent to:

To maintain anonymity please sign your work on the back. The media and subject of the work is entirely your own choice.
We are excited about making a diverse collection that will appeal to a wide audience!

This event will be a fun and an unusual way of promoting artists work from around the country, as well as an opportunity to have an exhibition contributed to by artists and makers from a range of disciplines.
Unlike most exhibitions the identity of the artists will remain anonymous until after the works have been sold by silent auction to the highest bidder, starting at £10 each.
